Nitish Narvekar

I am a Consultant Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery including Endometriosis and Fibroid Surgery based in London.
I have over 30 years’ clinical experience working in various hospitals, clinics, and healthcare settings. I am an expert in advanced gynaecological surgery having performed more than 1000 complex operations and specialises in the management of various gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, uterine anomalies/septum, miscarriage, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and surgical issues in Maternity such as abdominal cerclage, Abnormal Invasive Placenta “AIP” and uterine trauma. I am the Clinical Lead for Endometriosis/EndoCentre, Reproductive Surgery, and Robotic and Complex Gynaecology. I have a wide range of research interests which has led to several publications and presentations. I am actively involved in the training, examination, supervision and mentoring of students, specialists, and fellow Consultants.
I qualified in 1990 and trained in various hospitals and clinics in the UK and abroad. I completed a research degree MD “Doctor of Medicine” in Reproductive Medicine at University of Edinburgh, followed by advanced training in Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery at University College Hospital London. I was appointed as NHS Consultant in 2008 and admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists ‘FRCOG’ in 2013.
